Train Station Redevelopment

For a confidential client, I led the redevelopment of two train stations in India, balancing functionality, aesthetics, and cultural relevance. The project involved comprehensive pedestrian flow analysis and space planning to optimize foot traffic movement, ensuring efficiency and accessibility. Through detailed calculations of passenger volumes and circulation patterns, I formulated a strategic layout that maximized spatial efficiency while enhancing user experience. Beyond functionality, I developed the architectural concept, introducing a modern design language that seamlessly integrated advanced technology with traditional elements. Drawing inspiration from local architecture, I incorporated arches and cantilevers, reinterpreting them in a contemporary form to create a visually striking yet contextually rooted design. This fusion of heritage and innovation resulted in a railway station that not only met operational demands but also offered a distinctive and immersive spatial experience.
